GRAHAM MEDIA GROUP VISUAL STORYTELLING SYSTEM
V 1.0

CENTER-OUT CONCEPT

Not louder. Clearer.

Television's first design system was a calibration grid — built to make the picture readable. Today the news is read in seconds, often decided before the story opens. We brought that grid back as the foundation for a modern storytelling system — built to make a story read clearly, instantly.

One grid. Every format.

Built from the center — like a test card — so the same system holds on broadcast, mobile, and social.

The one thing we're not allowed to touch.

Six stations. Six identities. Their logos, colors, and local history stay exactly as they are.

So we didn't build a brand. We built a stage.

A neutral storytelling system that every station steps onto — and keeps its own voice.

This isn't a rebrand. It's a shared way of telling stories — one set of principles, formats, and rules of adaptation that lets every station stay modern, consistent, and unmistakably itself.
The system unifies how the news is told, never who is telling it.

The brand doesn't sit in the corner. It moves with the story — entering, leaving, returning — a presence that pulses through the whole piece.

The brand can live in the field, not just on the screen.

The gear your crews already carry — a wireless clip-on mic, a phone rig — becomes the identity. Functional first, branded by design.

The system stays quiet — until the moment doesn't.

Elections, big wins, milestones, community moments: the system steps back and lets the station's identity go premium — dimensional, tactile, celebratory. The frame stays neutral by default, so these moments actually feel like moments.

The brand can shine because everything around it stays calm — and that calm extends past the screen.

WIDGETS CONCEPT

Not cluttered. Simple.

Using the same insight, we also developed another idea — a system built around modularity. A grid that is no longer fixed by traditional TV standards, but designed to move, shift, and adapt.

Here, the logic is simple: move one pixel to another, drag a row upward, shift a column sideways — and the system responds. Every move is controlled, flexible, and intentional, allowing the visual language to adapt to the story, the brand, and the platform.

Flexibility. Bold Shapes. Typography.

Same logic — built from the center, but typography expands it beyond to accommodate whole screen space.

Six stations, six distinct identities. Logos, colors, and local roots remain exactly as they are.

STRATEGIC APPROACH

It all works as one system.

Every brand feeds one concept — and it scales out to every format, platform, and the production tools you already run.
editorial storytelling principles
brand architecture
modular design system
templates and components
AI-assisted production
automated publishing
multi-platform adaptation
newsroom workflows
governance and scalability

Let's break the mold.
